Green Energy Consulting Co., Ltd. (GEC) has, since January 2026, transitioned away from acting primarily as a simple success-fee-based broker, and has moved to a support model centered on advisory services.
In renewable energy and infrastructure projects in Japan, early-stage clarification of key issues, structuring of decision-making materials, and coordination among stakeholders with execution in mind have a significant impact on overall project outcomes.
GEC does not consider the mere “introduction” of projects to be its objective.
Rather, we believe value lies in organizing the information, issues, and assumptions required for decision-making, and in helping move projects forward into a state where they can be realistically executed.

Based on this approach, GEC provides advisory support primarily across the following areas:
Early-stage Origination Advisory
(Project scoping at an early stage, feasibility and acquisition assessment, identification of key issues)
Screening & Structuring Support
(Review and analysis grounded in regulatory and practical considerations, structuring of decision-making materials)
Execution & Closing Support
(Stakeholder coordination and execution support, including Japan-specific practical processes toward closing)
GEC engages not merely as an intermediary, but as an advisor supporting both decision-making and execution, with the aim of increasing execution certainty for projects in the Japanese market.
Looking ahead, in addition to renewable energy, GEC intends to continue providing end-to-end advisory support — from early project stages through execution — across a broader range of sectors, including battery energy storage system (BESS) projects and other infrastructure assets, supporting both strategic decisions and practical execution.
